When you own your email list and all the names on there are people that know you and have opted in to be in your world, then you have a great big asset there. That’s one of the most important parts of your business.

Because your audience has to opt-in to receive your newsletters each week, they should receive priority and the best information you can provide.
Collaboration Opportunities
Take more time and effort, but content entrepreneurs should be looking for a new campaign to run every quarter to grow their audience and reach.
The best way to expand your audience and reach is to collaborate with others who speak to a similar audience.
There are a variety of opportunities available to help us leverage other people’s audiences.
If you find one method of collaboration that you like and it works well for you, keep doing it.
Continue to try other methods as well so you can meet new collaboration partners and stay on the leading edge in your industry.
Podcast interviews
On our livecast, Messages and Methods, we go through quarters where we interview guests, then we take a break for the next quarter.
You can keep your feelers out to be a podcast guest or you can actively seek out podcast interviews when you have the time and motivation for it.
Summit or panel
The best way to learn about participating in a summit or panel is to attend a few and watch how it is done. Make notes about the process from the moment you hear about it and sign up to the final follow-up emails you receive from the panel host and members.
Network with those who are putting panels together or try doing it yourself. Keep it small to start and think about the end results you desire as you are creating it and looking for partners.

Giveaway
This is much like a summit or panel except each participant will provide a lead magnet product for a giveaway. In return, they will receive email address lists from the other contributors.
This was a popular promotion in years past, but not as much lately. I believe it is because the new email list members were quick to unsubscribe because they were getting too many emails and they didn’t know, like or trust the new people so they were less likely to do business with them.
Digital product bundle (Super Stack)
A product bundle is simply putting together complementary digital products aimed at a specific audience to create an irresistible offer at a deep discount.
Every entrepreneur needs customers and every content creator needs an engaged audience.
The customers bring money directly to the entrepreneur.

The fastest way to expand our audience is through leveraging other people’s audiences by appearing in front of them with our specifically targeted message and products.
Affiliate marketing is when we sell other people’s products to our audience.
When we collaborate and cross-promote other creators and entrepreneurs, it is very similar to affiliate marketing.
The difference is, as we promote their products, they promote our products in return and it has the effect of lending credence and excitement to buy, much like a testimonial.

Sometimes you will find yourself in a stagnant place where you are offering the same lead magnet to the same people week after week.
You’ve got to find new ways to bring more fish into your pond.
Influencers combine content production with quarterly campaigns to grow their audience.
A campaign is a way to drum up excitement for your audience to more fully engage with you and share your content with family and friends.

Learn to bundle products
Bundling together several products can make a very attractive package you can sell to your customers.
But if you’ve only got one digital product, then it’s not much of a bundle.
When you join other experts to bundle many diverse courses, ebooks, and checklists together, it excites customers with all the value it provides.
After you’ve seen other products that might be included in a bundle like this, you’ll have ideas for other digital products you could create to add to your own bundle.
Email swipe
If you’ve never put together an email campaign with more than 3 emails, then this will be a challenge for you.
For the Content Creators Super Stack, Infostack recommended sending out a daily email for 9 days. But they made it easier by providing an email swipe copy.
That’s sample emails where you can adjust the wording to suit your style and add your own affiliate link where they indicate.
I set up the email sequence on a separate email provider from the one I normally use for my newsletters. That way, if anybody unsubscribes from the promotional emails, they are still on my newsletter list.
Writing sales copy
Unfortunately, we can’t just create a digital product and expect that all our customers will come running to buy it. We have to sell it with targeted marketing messages and sales copy.
That means we do our best to provide all the product information and benefits the bundling entity needs to promote it properly.
The good news is they ask specific questions and provide samples so we can write helpful descriptions that will interest our target buyers.
Landing page and sales techniques
When you click on my affiliate link for The Content Creators Super Stack, it takes you to the landing page for the bundle.
As you scroll through all the information, you’ll see images, branding, sales copy, videos, and testimonials, as well as the credentials of the contributors and a countdown timer. It’s all designed to help shoppers make up their minds to purchase.
The landing page provides a prime example of what you can do when you create your own sales pages to sell your products.
Graphics ideas
You’ll need to provide graphics for the landing page to present your digital product in the best light.
For me, Infostack provided samples I could follow to create a graphic, but they also offered to make the graphic for me if I didn’t feel I could do a good job with it.
They provided bundle graphics I could use to promote on social media and include in videos to share with my network.
After sending so many social media posts out into the void, it is refreshingly fun to send out emails to my list knowing they will read and enjoy them.
Being a participant in a campaign like a Super Stack means I’m bringing new audience members into my community. They will continue to learn more about me and my offers and perhaps they will show up during my livestreams because they are informed about them in my newsletter.
Another advantage of growing my email list is it gives me greater leverage with brands and sponsors. They want to know how many people are on my email list, even when I have a strong following on social media. They understand the power of email.
Future promotions will do better because there are more people in my warmest audience.
I’ll be more desirable as a collaboration partner with a larger email list.

Do they speak to your niche?
If they have not yet explored your niche, write to the bundling company and ask if they could recommend a bundle you could contribute to or ask if they are planning any new stacks that fit your target audience and skills.
Create sales copy and graphics
Write a description of your digital product along with all the benefits and results that come with it.
Put together a few graphics in different sizes to build excitement about your digital product.

Copy for sales and landing page
I went through an onboarding application and many of the questions helped me to write the description, benefits, and features of my product.
Put your digital product up on your own sales page with your original price and use the same information that you’ve written for the bundle sales page to help you sell your product when the promotion is over.
Email sequence
An email sequence is one of the best ways to inform and encourage your people to check out the bundle and purchase it during the promotion.
Infostack gave me swipe copy for 9 emails to send. I adjusted the copy to fit my personality and added my affiliate link.
Then I set up the sequence separately from my newsletter email list. That way, if anybody isn’t interested and unsubscribes from the sales sequence, they are still subscribed to my newsletter.
I made sure my regular newsletter readers knew about that so they wouldn’t be confused.
Graphics for social media posts
Infostack provided samples of graphics that have done well in the past so I could create a great graphic to showcase my course on their platform and in my social media posts.
They also provided several graphics I could use to promote the Super Stack that included important information to share with my audience.
Videos
Infostack gave me the opportunity to either interview the leaders of their company on my livestream show or to appear on a livestream to promote my course and the Super Stack.
I chose to be on a livestream that is happening on Thanksgiving day, Livecast Lifestyle: The Secret to Fun, Fulfilling, and Consistent Content Creation – Shelley Carney.
Using the email swipe copy they gave me, I created short scripts and recorded videos to share every day on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
I used Descript to add captions and GIFs and I adjusted them to fit a square and portrait shape for shorts and Reels.
